Ten-Minute Slipcase

The diagram depicts a "ten-minute" slipcase as demonstrated at the Centro del Bel Libro in Ascona, CH. This design is very suitable for smaller books.

Materials used are a card-stock such as stonehenge or other sturdy paper and double-sided tape. One can also get creative using lined decorated papers...

The case is cut out of a single sheet, marked, scored/creased, and then assembled with double-sided tape. The top and bottom are cut to match the round of the spine of the book

The "turn-in" helps the case fit more snugly, and provides for a wonderful whoosh as the book is slid in and out.
